Yaupon tea is the only source of caffeine native to North America. It also contains the mood elevating stimulant theobromine and is rich in antioxidants. Yaupon was the tea of the Native Americans and sipped by Spanish Conquistadors in St. Augustine. Now its fresh, mildly roasted flavor and restorative benefits can be enjoyed by you!
Brewing Instructions
Each tea is unique and can be brewed differently according to personal preference. We provide brewing instructions as a starting point, but we encourage you to experiment with each tea and find the quantity, steep time, and number of infusions that works for you.
Temperature: 200° Quantity: 1 -2 tsp Time: 5 - 10 minutes (Brew longer for stronger tea)
Approximately 15 servings per 0.8 ounce tin. (And each serving can be re-steeped 2 - 3 times.)
